Provide and establish a place of worship. Advance the HINDU Religion according to the special traditions prevailing in SRILANKA AND TAMIL NADU.
The temple was founded
The temple was founded on the 10th August 1991 at Harrow Honey Bond Hall.
Moved Temple Place
The place of worship was moved to Southall Shakelton Hall on 25.10.1991
Moved Place
Temple moved again to Wembley Union Hall on 11.08.1992.
First Executive Committee
The first Executive Committee was formed on 14.04.1993
Permanent Land Purchased
The current temple premises was purchased on 09.06.1995
Maha Kumbabishekam
The first ‘Maha Kumbabishekam’ (“Consecration Ceremony” – மகாகும்பாபிஷேகம் – குடமுழுக்கு விழா ) was held on the 6th of June 1999.
Festival
The first ‘Mahotsavam’ was held from 20.07.2001 for 25 days.
2nd Maha Kumbabishekam
The second ‘Maha Kumbabishekam’ (“Consecration Ceremony” – மகாகும்பாபிஷேகம் – குடமுழுக்கு விழா ) was held on the 6th of June 2011.
Temple worship Poojas
Monthly special days such as Chaturthi, Sankatahara Chaturthi, Pooranadai, Karthikai Ekadasi, Thiruvilakku Poojai, Navratri, Gauri Viratham, Skandashashti, Vinayakar Chaturthi, Perungathai, Ayyappa Mandalam, Poosai, Thiruvembavai, Thaipongal, Thirunal, Chitrai, and Tamil New Year births are all well celebrated along with other prayers of devotees and annual Mahotsavam.
Temple Activities
The temple's advancements and day-to-day functions are overseen by a management committee. Its members are chosen by the general assembly every two years. Working closely with the temple trustees, these committee members craft strategic plans for the temple's growth and events.
